We are attempting to implement color modification in a PDF that contains image objects using color spaces such as DeviceCMYK, Separation, and DeviceN. Our approach involves removing or modifying these color spaces from the image stream’s color space dictionary. While the dictionary values do change as expected, the visual appearance of the image remains unchanged. Is there a way to refresh, reinitialize, or invalidate the image object so that it uses the updated color space dictionary? Please note that reloading the PDF is not an option, as we retain and reuse the existing PDF objects for color removal purposes.
