Hi

I am considering purchasing Pdfium.Net, however I need clarity on the licensing.
The Single Developer license would be chosen.

1) Is another developer allowed to use Pdfium.Net on a different machine?
2) My app would be built on a build server, are there any issues with having the Pdfium.Net binaries hosted on the server?
3) The Pdfium.Net binaries would be distributed along with my app - are there any licensing issues with this?

Thanks for your support.

Regards
Shiv

We sell licenses based on the number of your developers who will be using the library not the number of applications your company intends to build.
So each place(developer machine or build server) where your source codes (which uses Pdfium.Net SDK assemblies directly) may be compiled should be covered by license.

You can use Pdfium.Net SDK in your apps without needing to pay any royalty fees for distribution to end-users of the applications you build. This means no additional fees to you other than the cost of the developer licenses.

Hello Paul,

may one developer use the license on different machines? I use a couple of virtual machines, but I am the one using them.

Yours Nanno

Hi Nanno,

Quote:
For the sake of flexibility, this license permits the AUTHORIZED USER to install the LICENSED SOFTWARE on a laptop computer that the AUTHORIZED USER uses if the original installation was on a desktop. Similarly, if the original installation was on a laptop, the AUTHORIZED USER can install and use the LICENSED SOFTWARE on desktop computer that the AUTHORIZED USER uses. However, the AUTHORIZED USER should not install the LICENSED SOFTWARE on two desktop computers or two laptop computers.

I think that in your case you need to take into account the host machine.
