Hi Paul,

Is there a reliable way to determine if a text field is centre or right-aligned? All I can think of is the Matrix/Location for the text, but that seems a bit dodgy.

Regards,

Richard

Hi,

Try checking the “Q” entry in the field's dictionary.

Quote:
Q integer (Optional; inheritable) - A code specifying the form of quadding (justification) to be used in displaying the text:
  • 0 Left-justified
  • 1 Centered
  • 2 Right-justified
Default value: 0 (left-justified).
