Can your SDK handle TIFF Group 4 images? These are very commonly produced by production scanners. Have tested successfully using open source Tesseract but unable to do so with this SDK.

Yes, We are having the very same issue. We have bitonal images that we are unable to OCR using Tesseract.NET. We receive the following error:

The image with 0, 8(grayscale), 24 or 32 bits per pixel may be given only.

We were using an open source Tesseract.Net without issue. Not sure why we are unable to OCR.

we have fixed an issue where the images with 1 BPP does not pass to the engine.
But these images should be encoded as follows:

* Binary images of 1 bit per pixel may also be given but they must be
* byte packed with the MSB of the first byte being the first pixel, and a
* one pixel is WHITE.
